More wedding fayres!

Hi guys!

Just found out we can exhibit at the Marriott hotel Peterborough this Sunday the 14th of October!  Please do come along and visit us!  1am to 4pm

Wedding Fayre

Hi all!

Hi chaps and chapesses! 

After a little break I am back and looking for my next wedding fayre to exhibit at.  I can't wait as I have loved every minute of creating my samples.  I have started work on a few new ranges that I can give you a sneaky peek at before they go on the website:

Lots of fresh and summery colours right now.  I am a fan of polka dots, mini roses, lollipops and cupcakes.  Speaking of cupcakes, I recently purchased a whole cupcake making kit with piping nozzles and the works.  Please comment and let me know any of your cake conquests.... Or cake catastrophes for that matter!

Wedding approaching

Hi ladies and gents!

I just thought I'd write a quick post before a full one after the weekend to say I have finished all the stationery for a close friend's wedding this weekend!  Not long now!  It is all packaged up and ready to take to the venue.  I will put some pictures up shortly so you can have a mosey over.

Post Wedding Fayre

Hi peeps!

So the wedding fayre went really well.  Although there weren't too many people through the doors so I think next time I do one it will have to be on a larger scale.  Those that came were complimentary of my designs which was lovely to hear.  I did a prizedraw for people to win 50% off an order with us and a bottle of bubbly.

I set up the table with a vintage theme involving a birdcage (obviously), a suitcase table plan, cups and saucers, lanterns and sweet jars.  All of these items and more are available to hire on request too.  Anything for table decor can be arranged.  I got my business logo framed and I really loved it;

I met some lovely people at the event, with businesses like, Butterflies Cupcake house.  They really were amazing cakes!  The website can be found by clicking HERE.

Wedding Fayre

Hi all!

Just a quick one before a very long one :-)  Exhibiting at a wedding fayre tomorrow 10am - 4pm at the Tu Danse Studios Peterborough.  Come along if you're in the area!  Chance to win 50% off our stationery and a bottle of bubbly in the prize draw.  You might even get some free sweeties!

Wedding Words

So the big day finally arrived and my sister tied the knot!  The day was the most beautiful day you could have asked for.  She got married at Peterborough Cathedral and had the reception at Orton Hall.  I will post a few pictures of the day in time and show you the table plan and favour table we devised ;-).

We came up with a unique idea of making tags and tying them onto a white rose lollipop tree for the table plan.  I like these new inventive ideas don't you?  I think it is such a  nice change from a board with names on.  Hannah had nothing horse related in her wedding so far and as she is a bit of a fanatic- had famous racehorse names for the table numbers; another stylish idea!

We came up with an idea for a sweet table with white decorative photo frames saying 'Please help yourselves'.  We bought vintage jars and bowls from a charity shop, tied gold ribbon around them and filled them with sweets.  People kept commenting on what a lovely time they were having so I think everything went down a treat!  We also laid out lanterns and candles in the great conservatory for an 'evening glow'.

It is my birthday today so I am really just doing nothing all day. Well I will be going out for lunch with the newlyweds actually so that will be nice :-)

Possible Opportunity

Hello fellow creatives!

My sister's hen party went to plan!  Everyone loved the invites and favours I created ( I was up to my neck in homemade soaps, net and ribbon making favours).  I received my business cards shortly after my letterheads and compliment slips arrived and I just love them :-)  I will post a picture on here soon.  So the last few weeks I have been getting back to work at Ideal World and slowly increasing my hours.  For those of you who don't know, I haven't been very well for the past half a year so I am only just getting back to work.  I am loving going back and getting creative again.  So far I have gone back to Sheena Douglas, The Glitter Girls and Jennie Rayment.  So if you fancy tuning in it's channel Sky 644 | Freeview 22 | Virgin 747 | Freesat 812 for Ideal World and channels Sky 671 | Freeview 36 | Freesat 813 for Create and Craft :-)

So back at work I am gradually getting back into the swing of everything and loving every minute. Well. Almost every minute.  Christmas was amazing with it being my Sister's baby's first Christmas.  Everything is so much more special when it's about the children isn't it?  New year I spent having drinks with my partner's family, so it was nice and relaxed.  What did you do for Christmas and New year?

So I am in the process of preparing for a possible wedding fayre.  It will be my first one eeep!  They have a few spots left so I have enquired about it.  I think it would be the necessary kick up the rear I need to finish my ranges and the website.  It is supposed to be on the 18tha and 19th of Feb so watch this space and I'll let you know what happens!

For now I'll say goodbye as I need to get some much needed rest as I'm helping with the rest of the wedding plans for my Sister tomorrow.
